The insert detects the genomic HindIII fragments of the following sizes (kb): human--6.0; Chinese hamster--8.8, 2.8; mouse--2.7, 2.0. The probe detects genomic EcoRI fragments of 19.0 and 5.4 kb in the human, 11.5 kb in the rat, and 14.0 kb in the mouse. The probe detects mRNA of 5.8 and 4.8 kb in human fibroblasts. |
